CST Group is a full service certified public accounting firm serving Northern Virginia and the Washington, DC region for over 45 years.

CST is seeking a financial professional with an entrepreneurial spirit to enhance their Outsourced Accounting Practice.  Strong managerial and business development skills are essential to be responsible for an efficient outsourced accounting practice within the practice.  Excellent organizational and communication skills are required to report and work directly with clients’ management and supervise the outsourced accounting team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess market competition by comparing the company’s products to competitors’ products
  • Develop pricing model for services
  • Build outsourced accounting team, including hiring of appropriate staff
  • Oversee functions of outsourced accounting department, including budget, revenue projections, billing, collections and cost controls
  • Responsible for overall direction, scheduling, coordination and evaluation of staff
  • Contract creation, review and maintenance, including pricing and proposals
  • Discovery and creation of new business opportunities to grow the practice including opportunities with existing clients
  • Assess market competition by comparing the company’s products to competitors’ products

Education and Work Experience

  • A Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in outsourced accounting at the Controller or CFO level
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in supervisory role
  • Business Development and Management experience

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed CPA

 Software Knowledge

  • QuickBooks, Intacct, Zero, Unanet, Deltek & Bill.com all a plus
  • Microsoft Office Suite
