RESTON, VA, August 5, 2014 – CST Group, CPAs, PC, one of the Washington DC region’s leading certified public accounting firms, has announced its acquisition of Clarendon Associates, Inc, also known as John P. Devlin, CPA.

John P. Devlin, CPA, has been serving clients in the DC metro area as Principal of Clarendon Associates for over 31 years. In a letter to his clients notifying them of the acquisition, Devlin noted that he chose CST Group because “their dedication to quality and value is consistent with my professional approach.” He also praised CST’s team and resources, saying that their “skilled staff of over 45 experienced CPAs can provide a wide range of services on a timely basis and their technology provides the highest levels of value, efficiency, and security.”

This is CST Group’s second major expansion in 2014. Earlier this year, CST merged with Hollis Russell Davis, CPA, PLLC, bringing Hollis Davis on board as Partner. The firm also recently announced a series of new hires and promotions and plans on adding to its team to support its growing body of clients.
