CST Partner Mark Watts was recently appointed as treasurer of Cornerstones, a nonprofit organization that promotes self-sufficiency by providing support and advocacy for those in need of food, shelter, affordable housing, quality childcare, and other human services.

“It’s an honor to be the treasurer of Cornerstones,” said Watts. “Over the years, I’ve seen how Cornerstones has brought people and businesses together to make an extraordinary impact on our community.”

With more than 30 years of experience, Watts specializes in working with closely held businesses and helps high net-worth individuals with strategic planning for taxesestate, and other critical financial planning matters.

Watts also works with real estatehealth caregovernment contractors, franchisees, and other professional service providers. His extensive experience working with a range of businesses in the Northern Virginia area will help advance Cornerstones’ mission.

CST Group received the 2017 Best of Reston Award, presented by Cornerstones and Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce, reflecting Watts’ successful efforts to educate and encourage charitably minded individuals to participate in the Neighborhood Assistance Tax Credit Program (NAP).

CST Group and Cornerstones have been longtime partners on Thanksgiving Food Drive, Toys for Tots, and the Back to School Drive.
