Charles Cocke has spent more than 40 years in the accounting profession. His areas of practice include tax planning for business acquisitions and transactions, estate planning, and litigation support. He also has founded numerous other closely held businesses as a venture capitalist and is very familiar with the most advantageous tax structure for closely held businesses. Charles has been voted a Super CPA by his peers in Virginia six times and has been named a Smart CPA by SmartCEO magazine. He was recognized as a Top Financial Professional in Estate Planning in 2012 by Northern Virginia Magazine.
Charles is a past president of the Northern Chapter of the Virginia Society of CPAs and has led numerous continuing education courses in tax areas sponsored by the Virginia and Washington, DC Societies of CPAs and has taught at George Mason University. Charles holds a Juris Doctor degree from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
