Approximately 70% of family businesses don’t make it to the next generation. In his seminar, Dan Ruttenberg of SmolenPlevy asks, “Who Gets Your Business?” As he discusses “Succession Planning for the Closely Held Business,” you’ll discover if your company is built to last. Dan, who last year argued an estate administration case in front of the United States Supreme Court, will address the most common, yet challenging issues business owners face in succession planning, such as when to plan, maximizing the value of your company, minimizing taxes and difficult family politics.
