cornerstonesOn July 21st, as part of CST Group’s internship program, the firm donated flowers and plants to Cornerstone, a nonprofit that promotes self-sufficiency by providing support and advocacy for those in need of food, shelter, affordable housing, quality childcare, and other human services throughout Fairfax County, Virginia. The interns and some of the staff then donated their time and hard labor to clean up and install the plants as part of the Embry Rucker Community Shelter’s landscaping project. Embry Rucker is a 70-bed residential shelter that provides safe emergency housing.

“Community service plays a large role in the day-to-day culture at CST Group,” said Partner, Kathy Jensen. “We made sure that our summer interns had an opportunity to get involved in a meaningful project.”
