Each Friday our CST Group employees wear jeans and donate $5 or more to a local nonprofit organization as part of our Jeans for Charity Initiative. For July we have chosen Growing Hope Kids, a local charity in Northern Virginia.
Growing Hope Kids provides supportive, non-medical care to children with cancer and their families. When you donate to this organization, every penny helps children and families in need, right here in our own community. The money Growing Hope Kids receives allows them to purchase informational books as well as provide the funds for many social activities throughout the year that provide a much needed break from the serious battle these families fight each day. Some of the activities include a family day at an amusement park, a night at the circus, a spring picnic or a winter holiday party. Growing Hope Kids also seeks to help reduce the burden these families face while caring for a child with cancer by assisting them with unexpected expenses or monthly costs such as car payments, rent or mortgage payments.
