Best of Reston awards for community serviceTwo years ago, at the Best of Reston 2012, Reston founder Robert Simon challenged the community to raise $1 million for Cornerstones, formerly Reston Interfaith, by the 2014 ceremony, in order to help the organization double its stock of affordable housing units.

CST is proud to join Best of Reston’s effort as a sponsor for Best of Reston Awards Gala. The event will honor eight exemplary individuals, organizations and businesses for their commitment to making the community a better place in which to live, play and work. The event also recognizes the 50th year of the founding of Reston and the 100th birthday of its founder, Robert E. Simon.

As a long time supporter of Cornerstones, CST is thrilled that the Best of Reston has reached 75% of its $1 million goal. Community members can help Best of Reston get even closer to that goal by donating here.
