As part of CST Group’s charitable giving program, Jeans for Charity, the firm is proud to support SOME (So Others Might Eat) throughout the month of December.
SOME is an interfaith, community-based organization that exists to help the poor and homeless of our nation’s capital. The organization strives to meet the immediate daily needs of the people they serve with food, clothing, and health care. SOME helps break the cycle of homelessness by offering services such as affordable housing, job training, addiction treatment, and counseling, to the poor, elderly and individuals with mental illness.
The organization was founded in 1970 by an interfaith group of priests, ministers and laypersons to help feed the city’s homeless citizens. Today, SOME offers comprehensive programs that meet a full spectrum of needs while giving a sense of hope and restoring dignity to the poor and homeless of the District of Columbia.
