CST Group wants to thank everyone who contributed to making our 2015 Summer Internship Program such a success!
As part of the program, our interns had the opportunity to work with a team of experienced CPAs while gaining meaningful, public accounting experience in audit and tax fields. One component of the program that our interns found particularly valuable was the weekly training sessions where CST employees worked with interns showing them how to use various audit software to analyze financial statements.
The program also offered a great mix of work and play, with many social activities included in the program. Some of the program highlights included participating in a D.C. scavenger hunt, going to a National’s game, volunteering at a local community shelter, and various other community service events.
Hear from two of this summer’s interns:
“One of the most attractive parts of the firm is the teamwork – every assignment was finished cooperatively by team members,” said Jia Guo, a former intern. “There were also numerous chances to work with partners, managers and colleagues. They were always open to answering our questions, and giving us feedback with great detail. I learned a lot from CST Group.”
“We worked with other CST employees on several client audits, which was amazing hands-on experience,” said Jack Belo, a former intern.
“CST Group offered more than just work experience, they provided valuable networking and community service opportunities.”
