The 2014 CST Group Scholarship, part of Virginia Society of CPAs’ Educational Foundation Scholarship program,  has been recently awarded to Gregory Smith, a senior at Virginia Tech.  Greg plans to graduate in May 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and will attend graduate school at Virginia Tech to earn a master’s degree by May 2016.  Greg is an active member of his community, serving as the treasurer of the Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity where he manages a budget of over $80,000.  He is also a student member of the Virginia Society of CPAs and the Virginia Tech Accounting Honors Society.

The CST Group Scholarship was established by CST’s founder, Charles Cocke, to support the education and development of promising, ambitious accounting students.  CST is proud to award Greg with this scholarship and looks forward to seeing all that he accomplishes.
