Reston, VA, May 17, 2013—The CST Group, one of the Washington D.C. region’s leading certified public accounting firms, today announced that partner Mark Watts has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA) Educational Foundation for 2013 and 2014.
“We are very proud of Mark and know that his 30 years of experience in public accounting will be invaluable to the VSCPA,” said CST Group Managing Partner Joseph J. Romagnoli. “He will contribute greatly to the education of future CPA students.”
A nonprofit organization, the VSCPA Educational Foundation was founded in 1984 and serves to sponsor and mentor students and educators by promoting accounting education through scholarships and grants.
In addition to the VSCPA, Watts is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA).
