CST would like to recognize John Persil, a partner of the company, as a new member for the Public Art Reston Board. Public Art Reston is an organization that mirrors a passion for art within the community. Each piece of artwork not only inspires community involvement, but is a unique conversation piece for family, friends, and neighbors. A few permanently sited works of art include Basket of Flowers, located near the Greater Reston Arts Center, Berlin Wall Fragment, located at the Bundeswehr Command Headquarters, and Book of Love, located outside of the Reston Regional Library. Among many temporary works sited, a few were created by South Lakes High School STEM Team including Nothing Twice and Simon. These works were located on Lake Thoreau.

Persil joined the board on December 6th, 2017. When asked about what this new role meant to him, Persil said he was “very grateful for the opportunity and I value this organization for its commitment to community service.”

CST would like to congratulate John Persil for joining such a prestigious group and thank him for supporting public art in our community.
