Reston, VA (January 22, 2021) – CST Group is excited to announce that Blaine Hegner, CPA joined the firm as a Partner on January 18, 2021. Blaine has over thirty-five years of diverse accounting experience. Blaine’s expertise comes in the estate and trust arena where he works closely with his clients to achieve their goals. He also provides high level tax planning and compliance services to the real estate industry working with small businesses and individuals.

Blaine began his career with six years at the Internal Revenue Service, working as a revenue agent in the Examination Division and as a special agent in the IRS’ Criminal Investigation Division. He is a distinguished graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. After the IRS, Blaine provided over 30 years of professional service at Dixon Hughes Goodman (DHG) and its predecessors.

Blaine is a licensed CPA in Virginia and is also a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from George Mason University.
